Depth Cues (2012-13)
The monocular, Cartesian perspective of the camera lens neatly distributes the hard angles of the built environment, constructing the illusion of depth in a photograph. In this series of images, the winter atmospherics of Melbourne, its occasional fogs and amorphous skies, play counterpoint to rigid pictorial geometry.
